Have you seen any production data on the Hunt-drilled "Bowman" well on Section 18 153-89 (Shell) it came off the confidential list with an ip of about 865 bopd, but a rumor has been circulating that production subsequently dropped off more rapidly than expected. This well particularly interests me as it is only about two miles from the stakes for a well on our property, and is the closest well to this site currently in production. It also is the first data on whether Hunt can drill a well with production equal to a the nearby EOG wells
Publicly-traded EOG likes to blab about their new well production to investors--even some still confidential wells, but privately-held Hunt tends to keep their mouth shut.
Here is the production history for the Hunt Bowman well. It appears the well was offline for 6 days in February for some reason. The decline seems to be in line with rates seen in other wells.

Can anyone fill me in more on
The DMR - Bakken Resource Assessment.
Was hoping for a review by now.
DMR - Bakken Resource Assessment - NOW AVAILABLE!To order contact Donna at 701-328-8000
I have not heard what NDIC is charging for the report.
David, I think your right. Eog is a better Driller than Hunt. I leased some minerals to EOG in a Section, but Hunt is going to be the Driller. I am worried? Where is Hunts Rig at this time?
I've calmed down. I am quite familiar with the monthly production data for an EOG-drilled well right in the middle of the Parshall field ;-), and this Hunt-drilled well is its production twin. Hunt and EOG both own leases on some of the same sections in Shell TWP, and it doesn't appear to me to make any difference which of the two companies does the drilling. Thanks Larry for the data I needed.

Hunt's rig NABORS 140 just finished drilling the MOEN 1-31H NENW 31-154N-89W.
Hunt is moving the rig now to BRUHN 1-12H SWSE 12-154N-90W
David, Good to hear the Hunt Bowman well compares favorably with nearby EOG wells.
Has anybody started to drill Mercer county yet?
As far as I'm aware, there's currently no drilling activity in Mercer county. There are a number of wells just 3 miles east of the Mercer county line, in Dunn county. They're all on the confidential list.
Brigham First Quarter ???
Anyone thats leased with them knows they may wait up to 5 years for action, but seems there trying to get a good look at the big picture. I am hoping they really work on the drilling so they can get good numbers down the road. Its early in the game in Mountrail and there are still some big questions.
most of their leases would run out by then probably. that seems like bad business. why would they buy leases from original lessors only to let them expire?
I am going to inherit land 5 miles SW of Parshall. I have been receiving requests to sell the mineral rights for this land. What should I expect to get per acre, and what are the normal terms? Thank you for your input.

Don't sell it. That would be the biggest mistake you could ever make. This might be your lotto ticket to a better life. It has been for me and all of my family.
Any production info. on the Hess well
J.Horst in Ratlake township section 11.

J.Horst producing 70 bopd.
