NDIC Docket for Thursday, September 25, 2008Case No. 10525: Application of Brigham Oil & Gas, L.P. for an order extending the fieldboundaries and amending the field rules for the Alger-Bakken Pool to createand establish three 1280-acre spacing units comprised of Sections 27 and 34,T.155N., R.92W., Sections 21 and 28, T.155N., R.93W., and, Section 4,T.155N., R.93W and Section 33, T.156N., R.93W., Mountrail County, ND,authorizing the drilling of one horizontal well on each spacing unit and suchother relief as is appropriate.
NDIC Docket. Case #10525. Why would Brigham want to go to 1280 acre spacings. Could they do this to claim an unleased neighboring section and then only pay 1/8th to the mineral owner?
Brigham presentation up today with tomorrows date.
Question above about NDIC Docket. Case #10525. I think its because thats the spacing in that area.
Correction to above. I was viewing the BEXP presentation and had saw what appear to be two long laterals planned west of the Nesson and confused them with the NDIC docket. As to the reason why, I guess they have there reasons.
